Los Angeles Economy & Jobs Committee
Deborah Helt is a graduate student intern for the Los Angeles Economy and Jobs Committee. Deb is in her second year of a Masters program in Urban Planning at UCLA where her studies have been focused on urban economic development issues.
Originally from Des Moines, Iowa, Deb is a proud product of Iowa and California public schools, having attended the University of Iowa, SMC, CSUN and UCLA. Prior to attending graduate school she worked in labor and community organizing and completed an internship at the Community Redevelopment Agency. In addition to her work in Urban Planning, she is interested in producing documentary films. |
